Young Professionals Network

Opportunity

Our young professionals are the next generation of leaders. Equipping young professionals with the necessary skills to thrive and create belonging for others is essential in the increasingly polarized society we live in. The Young Professionals Network was established in January 2024 to create a community and space for young professionals to build capacity in a safe, fun environment.

Team

Led by The Center for Economic Opportunity & Belonging with the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs.

Work

This is a networking opportunity for young professionals (ages 21-35) working in community building, social and corporate responsibility, and public and private sectors to increase collaboration and build belonging.

Bridging is a key ingredient to building belonging. This network provides a space to learn and practice bridging skills that contribute to a thriving future for all Utahns.

Outcomes

» Hosts regular social hours

» Growing network of over 120 young professionals representing different sectors and industries
